If there’s one thing I love to do more than read romance novels, it’s write my own. This next tidbit is really cliche, but true, so here it is.

I read book 1 of the Twilight series, and I ran out the next day and bought every single book in the series, and finished it in two days. I was hooked. Since then, I’ve read those books more times than I can count, and was desperately seeking another series to sate my taste for the genre, but I could not find one that came close to it. Almost everything I read was good, just not what I was looking for. And what I was looking for was not another Twilight copy, but another vampire romance that portrayed that same new love feeling (you know, the tingly I-can’t-live-without-this-person feeling?).

So, I wrote it. Just for me. Afterwards, I thought to myself: hey, I bet I’m not the only girl out there dying for another good vampire romance. Let me share.

So I did, and that was the beginning of my moonlighting as an author. And I still do! So far, I have written a total of 7 books, and I’m writing another now.
